Job Description A Project Management Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and tracking of projects to ensure work is delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives. This role facilitates communication across teams to support execution, maintains work assignments in P6 Primavera, manages project schedules, and provides status reporting. Additionally, the role supports project teams by completing administrative and operational tasks, coordinating stakeholders, and assisting with budget and resource tracking to ensure alignment across projects. Responsibilities Contribute to the client's goals and objectives by supporting Telecom project and solution delivery to the business. Facilitate meetings and provide support to teams of Telecom professionals to develop and deliver complex solutions to the enterprise as a whole or to a specific business area. Work collaboratively with Telecom teams, technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Telecom vendors, Telecom partners, and business SMEs to support the completion of complex technical projects. Identify and communicate risks to project success and prepare plans for mitigating risks that occur. Participate with the team and vendors in identifying and mitigating potential technical problems and roadblocks. Apply development and project management principles and tools effectively as needed. Utilize expertise on the team to prepare breakdown of work, anticipated task durations, dependencies among tasks and milestones, and overall project plan and schedule. Validate estimates and contingencies based on multiple inputs, experience from past projects, and judgment. Follow agreed-upon IT project execution methodology and reporting requirements, and target defined metrics for scope, timeliness, and budget. Through teamwork and collaboration, deliver defined business requirements and desired business outcomes. Support all aspects of project execution as needed, including project definition and charter, stakeholder management, communication, business analysis, business process change, organizational change management, and effective use of technical and business resources, including human, financial, facilities, equipment, information, and material resources. Act as primary interface for leadership on all aspects of the assigned project and communicate at the appropriate level to each stakeholder. Work with stakeholders at all levels of leadership. Establish and manage project plans, budgets and schedules by tracking schedule completion, status, delays, issues, risks and mitigations for customer driven work and Telecom system improvement work Create project baselines as needed Coordinate schedules with internal and external groups (e.g. CPC schedule, extract 410 report from P6) Provide support for smaller initiatives as needed Support annual and monthly resource and budget planning and reporting, (Pull BI Report for system improvements, and Participation) Provide period project status reports Create or extract reports as needed Open projects and work orders in WAM Other support as required Qualifications Familiarity of Information Technology (IT) concepts, systems, security, and foundational architectures and processes. Familiarity of Project Management concepts and tools as applied to technology projects. High emotional intelligence and ability to elicit high performance and cooperation from business, analytical, technical, and management resources, while maintaining positive relationships across the enterprise and at all levels within the organization. Ability to inspire and motivate and bring the best out of teams. Effective and transparent communicator. Ability to adapt to different project and team environments. Applies lessons learned from previous experiences to new projects. Facilitates technical and business discussions with subject matter experts to identify, assess, and determine options. Coordinates across multiple projects to identify and mitigate risks and dependencies. 3 years of relevant experience in project coordination, planning, or operations support including scheduling, reporting, or workload management Experience with Project tracking tools (P6, ServiceNow, WAM, etc.) and working with cross-functional teams Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Certifications IT technical certifications are helpful but not required. CAPM or entry-level PM certification is helpful but not required.
