$75- $85 per hour We're partnering with a major electric utility to support expansion of its data and analytics product portfolio tied to asset health, asset failure, and work management optimization. This Product / Project Manager will help drive strategy, execution, and delivery of complex analytics products used across the enterprise. This role sits at the intersection of data, technology, and utility operations , supporting products built on platforms such as GIS, Foundry, LiDAR, and enterprise data systems. It's well suited for a product?minded project manager who thrives in ambiguity, understands data deeply, and can lead cross?functional stakeholders through complexity. Why this role stands out Work on data products critical to large?scale utility operations and asset management High exposure to cross?functional teams including business, IT, analytics, and leadership Opportunity to influence how data flows from source systems to regulatory and operational reporting Long?term program with contract?to?perm potential Complex, meaningful work tied to infrastructure reliability and modernization What you'll be responsible for Product & Requirements Definition Gather, document, and synthesize stakeholder needs Facilitate working sessions with business, technical teams, and leadership Translate business problems into clear product requirements and features Drive prioritization and alignment across stakeholders Data Discovery & Management Map source systems, data flows, and data dependencies Document data schemas, quality issues, and resolution paths Anticipate downstream impacts and unintended data consequences Support alignment between business needs and solution architecture Technology Enablement Align on enabling technologies such as GIS, Foundry, Power BI, and enterprise data platforms Partner with development and IT teams to support delivery Process & Delivery Draft and maintain process documentation Identify improvement opportunities and help modernize workflows Support standups, scrums, operating reviews, and delivery planning Manage risks, dependencies, and cross?team coordination Roadmap, Governance & Planning Contribute to product roadmaps and future feature planning Support governance, change management, and operationalization efforts Help evolve roles, responsibilities, and engagement models What we're looking for 5+ years of product and/or project management experience in technical environments Experience guiding products or programs through multiple lifecycle phases Strong process improvement and facilitation skills Comfort leading cross?functional workshops and stakeholder sessions Experience with Agile and product toolsets (JIRA, similar) Strong data literacy, including Excel and data platforms Familiarity with enterprise systems, data warehouses, GIS, or SAP High attention to detail, especially in data mapping and documentation Working knowledge of information security principles Nice to have Utility, energy, or infrastructure experience Experience with GIS tools, Foundry, or LiDAR data Prior exposure to regulated environments This is a strong opportunity for a product or project manager who enjoys complex data?driven work , meaningful infrastructure programs, and influencing outcomes across a large enterprise. $75- $85 per hour Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
