Job Description

We are partnering with a growing fashion brand seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sample Coordinator to support the product development team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring samples move efficiently through the development process while maintaining organization, accuracy, and adherence to key timelines. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong communication skills, and can effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and track development, sales, production, and marketing samples across multiple product launches
  • Communicate regularly with overseas factories to monitor sample status and ensure timely delivery
  • Receive, log, organize, and distribute samples for fittings, approvals, reviews, and photoshoots
  • Prepare and track samples through fit sessions, revisions, and approval stages
  • Support Product Development and Wholesale teams with sample requests and sample management needs
  • Maintain an organized sample room and seasonal archive system
  • Identify and communicate delays, quality concerns, and discrepancies while assisting with resolution efforts
  • Manage sample shipments and ensure accurate tracking and documentation
  • Maintain accurate records and support internal reporting as needed
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in apparel sampling, product development, production, or a related field
  • Experience working with overseas factories and managing sample timelines
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; WFX and NetSuite experience preferred
  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds
  • Understanding of garment construction, fabrics, fit, and apparel development is a plus
