Entry Level Assistant to Project Manager/Engineer

Job Summary:

Currently seeking individuals for a full-time position as a Project Management/Mechanical Engineering Assistant located in the Carson, CA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and coordinating schedules to complete projects within budget and time constraints Work closely with Project Manager/vendors on ordering, expediting, and tracking of materials. Support Project Manager for day to day tasks Effective at working with other staff members in a fast-paced environment Resolution of project issues and problems in a timely fashion Preparation of project submittal and closeout packages Management of incoming construction documents Excellent oral and written communication and organized skills

Required Qualifications:

Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail oriented and possess excellent follow up skills Desire to learn and grow within the HVAC industry Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management or knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems. Ability to read mechanical construction drawings Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Sage Timberline, Laserfische, Three (3) Plus Years of experience with estimating, project administration, project scheduling, productivity analysis, project cost control, and material procurement preferred.
