Location:
Dublin, CA Position Summary We are seeking a Fixture Design Lead to support the design, development, testing, and implementation of retail store fixtures. This role works closely with vendors, purchasing teams, store planning, and cross-functional business partners to deliver fixture solutions that meet operational, functional, and aesthetic standards. Duties & Responsibilities Project Planning Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and implementation plans Coordinate vendor design proposal requests and evaluate submissions for leadership review Create fixture design concepts, sketches, renderings, engineering drawings, and assembly drawings Lead project kickoff meetings and communicate project objectives, timelines, and action items Collaborate with stakeholders to develop operational procedures and implementation plans Project Execution Evaluate engineering samples and prototypes for compliance with design specifications Identify design variances and recommend corrective actions Coordinate with vendors to resolve issues and ensure project completion Lead testing and validation of new fixture designs across multiple locations Provide onsite installation support and verify fixtures are installed according to standards Conduct follow-up reviews and walkthroughs to ensure fixture performance and functionality Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met on time and within budget Monitor project costs and coordinate approved change orders when necessary Prepare weekly project updates, status reports, and issue-resolution summaries Track project punch lists and ensure timely project closeout Compile final project documentation, including photo validation and completion reports Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required 3-5 years of related experience in design, project management, retail development, or a similar field Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet Ability to create sketches, renderings, and fixture design concepts for presentation to non-technical audiences Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in rapidly changing environments with shifting priorities Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong sense of urgency and commitment to meeting deadlines Core Competencies Communicates Effectively Plans, Aligns & Prioritizes Collaboration Manages Conflict Ensures Accountability & Execution Project Leadership Organizational Excellence Leads by Example Work Environment Office-based environment with extensive computer use Requires sitting, standing, walking, attending meetings, and working with project documentation Regular in-office presence required for collaboration, meetings, and project support Hybrid flexibility available based on business needs Ability to respond to urgent project needs during weekends, early mornings, evenings, and new store opening activities when required
