Requirements Job Overview Reporting directly to the Deputy Chief Operating Officer of the Law Center, the Project Manager serves as a highly execution-focused operational partner supporting initiatives across the Law Center's administrative portfolio, including finance, human resources, IT, facilities, academic operations, and Centers & Institutes. This role is responsible for translating leadership priorities into actionable plans, deliverables, and completed work. The incumbent will support process and system improvement efforts by building project plans, mapping workflows, developing documentation, and coordinating across departments to ensure timely and effective implementation. The position requires a detail-oriented, highly organized individual who can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, follow through on complex initiatives, and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Additional duties include, but are not limited to: Support the planning, execution, and tracking of cross-functional operational projects Build and maintain project plans, timelines, trackers, and status reports Document current-state and future-state processes across departments Develop SOPs, templates, and operational documentation Compile, organize, and analyze data to support decision-making Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure progress, accountability, and timely completion of deliverables Prepare materials for leadership meetings, including summaries, reports, and presentations Work Interactions This position reports directly to the Deputy COO and works closely with department leaders and staff across the Law Center, including Finance, HR, IT, Facilities, Registrar, Academic Affairs, and Centers & Institutes. The role also interfaces with central university partners such as University Information Services and the Office of Assessment and Decision Support. The incumbent will regularly coordinate with stakeholders at multiple levels to gather information, track progress, and ensure alignment on project deliverables. Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 5-7 years of relevant experience in project coordination, operations, or process improvement within a complex organization (higher education preferred) Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with strong attention to detail and follow-through Experience developing project plans, trackers, and documentation (e.g., SOPs, workflows) Strong analytical skills, with the ability to organize and interpret data to support decision-making Experience working with enterprise systems (e.g., Workday, Banner) preferred Proficiency in project management and productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project) Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining accountability for deliverables
Preferred:
Experience in higher education administration or similarly complex organizational environments; PMP or other project management certification Work Mode Designation This position has been designated as On-Campus. The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $66,783.00 - $126,720.23 Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
