Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) is seeking qualified individuals to apply for the position of Director, Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). The Director, EPMO position drives organizational excellence by aligning strategic planning, budgeting, and enterprise decision-making to achieve LACOE's mission and long-term goals. This executive role leads the prioritization and successful delivery of high-impact initiatives through standardized project management practices, ensuring optimal use of resources and measurable results across the organization. Required Education and Experience Education:
A bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, accounting, finance, or other fields closely related to the job requirements of this classification from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
Experience:
Five years of experience in managing complex, enterprise-wide initiatives, including two years of experience in senior management role.
Equivalency Provision:
A master's degree in information technology, business administration, accounting, finance, or other fields closely related to the job requirements of this classification from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, may substitute for one years of the required experience and one year of senior management experience. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
Additional Requirements:
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) or equivalent is preferred. A valid California driver's license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to obtain transportation between job sites is required.
