You will play a key role in both field and project operations, supporting the successful execution of complex heavy civil projects. This role includes contributing to planning, coordination, cost tracking and quality control

We have an extensive portfolio of public and private projects that will provide you with the opportunity to challenge and grow in your career. Responsibilities Reporting to a Construction Manager, responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Project Planning and Execution Understand our client's needs and the scope of the project. Estimate resources needed to complete projects. Oversee CPM, 3 Week, and 9 Day schedules. Pre-costing activities of work. Manage the cost report, AR and AP aspect of assigned projects. Team Management Manage one or more direct reports. Safety Management Conduct site safety surveys to evaluate safety program implementation. Monitor subcontractor safety performance to ensure Cal-OSHA compliance. Implement and enforce company and client safety policies. Additional Responsibilities Other duties as directed by the Construction Manager. Requirements Qualifications Undergraduate Degree. Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience managing civil engineering, grading or excavation projects, and jobsite safety. Able to read and understand Plans and Specifications. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Plan Grid, Bluebeam and scheduling software. Ability to learn new programs. Superior verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate with internal and external personnel of all levels. Capable of negotiating with clients. Who Are We Looking For?
