We are seeking a dependable and people-oriented Community Project Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of an online fan community centered around Japanese consumer goods. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between internal teams, external partners, and community stakeholders — keeping projects on track and relationships running smoothly. We value individuals who bring initiative and are excited to help the community grow. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing day-to-day correspondence in both English and Japanese Coordinate with partners and vendors to facilitate smooth execution of community programs Track tasks, timelines, and project status across multiple workstreams; flag issues proactively Conduct research and prepare supporting materials as needed Represent the community at in-person events throughout the year Primarily remote with occasional required in-person attendance at community events in the Los Angeles area Qualifications 2-4 years of professional experience in a coordination, operations, or project management role Fluent in both English and Japanese (written and spoken) Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience managing external relationships Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently Based in the Los Angeles area Nice to Have Background in Japanese food, beverage, or consumer goods — particularly experience with trading companies or importers Experience in a sales, business development, or client-facing role — comfort with outreach and relationship-building with new partners is a plus.
