Job Description

Reliable Roofing San Diego San Diego Full-Time
  • Competitive Pay + Growth Opportunity About the Company Reliable Roofing San Diego is a rapidly growing roofing company dedicated to delivering high-quality residential and commercial roofing solutions with integrity, reliability, and exceptional customer service.
We currently have nine installers in the field and are transitioning from a small company into a mid-sized operation. We're looking for people who want a career, not just a job — individuals who are excited to grow with us as we expand. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and take full ownership of roofing projects from contract signing through final completion and handover. You will report directly to Owner Edwin, while regularly taking direction from General Manager Hayden and Co-Owner Brianna. In this hands-on role, you will bridge the gap between sales/estimating and successful project delivery. This is a true team environment in a family-owned company. We all work together as one unit, so some tasks may be assigned to you that are not listed here, while other responsibilities on this list may occasionally be handled by teammates. We flex and support each other to work efficiently and professionally while delivering outstanding results. This is a rewarding place to build your career. This position is critical as we scale, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution:
Take over active projects after contract signing and develop detailed project plans, including material needs, waste disposal, and change orders. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers. Develop material lists and provide the list to the GM. Verify deliveries and manage inventory. Be able to step in and install or complete roofs from start to finish when necessary.
Quality Control & Safety:
Perform regular site visits and hands-on quality inspections. Enforce safety protocols and OSHA standards. Troubleshoot and resolve installation or workmanship issues directly.
Client Communication & Service:
Act as the primary point of contact during the construction phase. Provide regular updates, conduct pre-construction meetings, walkthroughs, and final punch lists. Deliver exceptional customer experiences and high satisfaction ratings.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination
  • Lead and motivate our nine installers and any subcontractors.
Collaborate closely with:
Edwin (Owner
  • initial estimates, technical expertise)
  • direct reporting manager Brianna (Co-Owner
  • invoicing, scheduling, payroll, and HR) Hayden (General Manager
  • follow-up, proposals, sales, financing, and customer service)
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate project records, photos, daily logs, and closeout documentation. Provide weekly status updates to ownership.
Requirements:
4+ years of project management experience in roofing or construction. Strong residential and commercial roofing experience is required. Hands-on roofing background — you must be capable of installing a complete roof from start to finish (tear-off through final installation) when required. Deep knowledge of various roofing systems, materials, and best practices for both residential and commercial projects. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities. Proficiency with project management tools, Google Workspace/Microsoft Office, and roofing/estimating software (JobNimbus, AccuLynx, Roofr, or similar preferred). Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to work on roofs and job sites. Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
Bonus Qualifications:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus. Experience helping scale a growing construction company.
What We Offer:
Competitive pay + performance bonuses tied to project profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Company vehicle (or vehicle allowance).
  • Opportunity to play a major role in a rapidly growing company with significant advancement potential.
A supportive, family-oriented team environment where your ideas and contributions are valued every day. If you're a skilled roofing professional who can both manage projects and get hands-on when needed — and you're looking for a long-term career with a growing, family-owned company — we want to hear from you.
