Job Description

A well-established electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial electrical construction projects from award through closeout. This role is responsible for managing project scope, schedules, budgets, client relationships, subcontractors, and field operations to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive commercial electrical construction experience, and the ability to effectively coordinate between clients, field teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage commercial electrical construction projects from pre-construction through project completion. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans. Monitor project performance to ensure adherence to contract requirements, deadlines, and financial objectives. Review and analyze weekly labor reports and project costs to drive productivity and profitability. Collaborate with field leadership to optimize manpower utilization and project execution. Coordinate procurement activities, subcontractors, vendors, and project documentation. Conduct project meetings and communicate project objectives, milestones, and expectations to all stakeholders. Identify and resolve project risks, challenges, and change order opportunities. Maintain strong client relationships by consistently delivering quality service and exceeding expectations. Ensure compliance with company safety standards, industry regulations, and project specifications. Support project closeout activities including final documentation, punch list completion, and customer turnover.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial electrical construction projects. Proven experience overseeing projects valued at $2 million or greater. Strong understanding of electrical construction practices, project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control. Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation. Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Professional demeanor with strong client-facing abilities. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Work Environment:
This position is primarily office-based with periodic visits to active construction sites as needed. Work involves prolonged periods of sitting, computer use, and reviewing project documentation. Occasional lifting of materials or files up to 30 pounds may be required.
Pay:
$105,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
