  • IN-PERSON POSITION ONLY AT OUR OFFICE IN GILROY
  • Wage Range:
    $28-30 per hour D.O.E.

Job Summary:
REACO Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc., a well-established and trusted HVAC, and sheet metal contractor, is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Project Manager to help organize, manage and plan HVAC, sheet metal and construction projects.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Assists Project Manager with daily project management tasks.
  • Assists with estimating and bidding on new jobs.
  • Part of an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinates equipment pricing for estimating team.
  • Coordinates submittals, RFIs, etc. for new projects.
  • Assists in generating change orders.
  • Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
  • Acts as a liaison between company, general contractors, and vendors.
  • Occasionally visits job sites.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to accurately read technical/mechanical plans.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, BIM software and/or related software.
  • Proficient with Auto Cad/drafting software preferred.
Education and Experience:
  • At least two years of related experience preferred.
  • Construction experience preferred.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and using a computer.
  • Prolonged periods of phone use.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
