Job Description:
Interconnection Project Manager Up to $68.13/hr - 18-month contract Hydrogen Group is working with a leading utility client in Southern California to find an experienced Interconnection Project Manager for an exciting contract opportunity, paying up to $68.13 per hour. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of 20+ interconnection and added facilities projects, with an average project value of $5-6 million each. Projects include connecting large energy producers to the transmission grid and extending grid infrastructure to serve major industrial customers, such as large-scale manufacturing facilities.
Key responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end delivery of a large portfolio of interconnection projects, ensuring commitments on scope, budget, and schedule are met Serve as the primary point of contact for both internal stakeholders and external customers throughout the project lifecycle Facilitate and lead large construction and project meetings with multiple stakeholders Proactively identify risks and drive resolution to keep projects on track What you'll need: Proven construction project management experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to facilitate large, complex project meetings Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Nice to have: PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field Experience within the electric utility or energy sector
