Senior Construction Project Manager (Advanced Defense Manufacturing)About the OrganizationWe are a nationally recognized, award‑winning corporate real estate advisory firm specializing exclusively in representing occupiers. Our Construction Project Management practice acts as an owner's representative and third‑party construction manager for some of the most dynamic companies in the country, guiding clients through complex projects with independent, conflict‑free expertise.

We are currently seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to join our Orange County team, supporting a growing portfolio of Hardware Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, and defense‑related projects.

The RoleAs Senior PM, you will serve as the client's owner's representative on the ground, functioning as a trusted extension of their internal team. You will be their eyes, advocate, and subject‑matter expert across all facets of construction. This is not a GC or developer role-you will represent the client's interests exclusively, managing the full project team on their behalf and ensuring every decision aligns with their goals, budget, and timeline.

This is a high‑visibility role with direct exposure to executive‑level stakeholders, technically demanding project types, and meaningful ownership over project outcomes.

ResponsibilitiesFull lifecycle owner's rep / third‑party CM oversight of multiple concurrent Hardware Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, and commercial construction projects-from programming and design through completion and closeoutDay‑to‑day leadership of complex, mission‑critical projects with direct accountability to client executivesDevelopment and management of project budgets, schedules, and client‑defined milestones, independent of GC or design‑team interestsProcurement, assembly, and leadership of complete project teams on the client's behalf (architects, engineers, GCs, and specialty contractors)Mentorship and management of up to two internal project managers or project engineersReview and negotiation of change orders, oversight of invoicing, TI allowance reimbursement management, and project closeout from the owner's perspectiveReview of leases and Work Letters for construction‑related provisions, in coordination with internal advisorsOngoing collaboration with internal team members and client stakeholders as project requirements evolveWhat We're Looking For7-10 years of construction project management experience, ideally including owner's rep, third‑party CM, or client‑side PM workStrong preference for candidates with Hardware Technology or Advanced Manufacturing experienceGC or subcontractor backgrounds welcomed, provided candidates demonstrate a genuine shift toward owner‑side advocacyDesign‑Build experience strongly preferredProven ability to manage and hold accountable external vendors and design consultants while leading internal junior team membersHigh proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Microsoft ProjectStrong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to C‑suite stakeholdersSelf‑directed, deadline‑driven, and capable of managing multiple active projects in a fast‑paced environmentLocal candidates only (Orange County)Compensation & DetailsCompetitive base salary ranging from $150,000-$190,000, depending on experienceComprehensive benefits and long‑term growth opportunitiesMix of in‑office and onsite project work, based out of the Orange County officeRegular travel to project sites as requiredBachelor's degree required, preferably in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture
