We are seeking an experienced Roofing Project Manager to lead and oversee roofing projects from inception through completion. Position Overview The Roofing Project Manager is responsible for managing roofing projects from contract execution through final completion. This is a hands-on field leadership role overseeing crews, coordinating logistics, maintaining safety compliance, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position reports directly to company leadership and works closely with office staff, foremen, subcontractors, and clients. We are looking for a leader who takes ownership, holds crews accountable, develops strong teams, and protects both quality and profitability. Key Responsibilities Manage residential, multi-family, and commercial roofing projects from start to finish Develop project plans including scope, scheduling, and budget oversight Read and interpret blueprints, contracts, scopes of work, and technical specifications Coordinate crews, subcontractors, inspections, materials, and equipment Oversee tear-off, installation sequencing, flashing details, ventilation, and final completion Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies Conduct regular site inspections for quality control and progress tracking Monitor job costs and protect project profitability Communicate clearly and professionally with property managers, homeowners, vendors, and internal team members Resolve field challenges proactively to keep projects moving efficiently Maintain detailed documentation including daily logs, change orders, progress photos, and schedules Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure client satisfaction Supervise and evaluate crew members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development What Success Looks Like in This Role Projects consistently completed on schedule Strong leadership presence in the field Minimal callbacks and punch list issues Accurate documentation and organized job files Positive feedback from clients and team members Crews performing efficiently and improving over time Projects delivered safely and profitably Work Environment Field-based position with daily job site visits Fast-paced environment managing multiple active roofing projects Combination of field supervision and administrative coordination Work performed outdoors in varying weather conditions Physical capability to access roofs and job sites as needed Qualifications 7+ years of experience in roofing with at least 4+ years of roofing-specific project management experience required Comprehensive knowledge of all major roofing systems, including tile, shingle, and flat/TPO applications Strong understanding of roofing installation sequencing, inspections, ventilation, flashing details, and waterproofing systems Experience managing multiple roofing projects simultaneously Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and job site compliance Ability to read blueprints, contracts, and construction documents Proven leadership ability with experience supervising and evaluating roofing crews Excellent organizational and communication skills Strong problem-solving ability in fast-paced field environments Valid driver's license and clean driving record Bilingual (English/Spanish) We value accountability, follow-through, leadership development, and professionals who take ownership without needing constant oversight.
