This position operates on the front end of project flow, directly supporting Project Managers and field teams by driving communication, coordinating manpower and materials, and ensuring projects stay aligned with schedule, scope, and execution requirements. Unlike administrative support roles, this position requires active involvement in operations, decision-making support, and real-time coordination across multiple moving parts. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Execution Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, milestones, and timelines Monitor project progress and proactively identify delays or issues Ensure field teams have clear direction, assignments, and required resources Review daily manpower schedules and adjust based on changing jobsite conditions Communication & Team Alignment Act as a central point of coordination between Project Managers, field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and clients Facilitate clear, real-time communication across all project stakeholders Follow up on outstanding items and ensure accountability across teams Participate in meetings and provide accurate job status updates Manpower & Resource Coordination Review and manage daily manpower assignments to ensure all personnel are properly allocated Coordinate labor needs, callouts, and schedule adjustments Assist in forecasting manpower requirements based on project workload Material & Logistics Coordination Track material procurement, deliveries, and jobsite needs Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials Identify potential delays in material availability and escalate as needed Project Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation Prepare weekly project summaries and internal status reports Ensure all project data is properly tracked and stored in company systems (Procore, internal logs, etc.) Permitting & Compliance Support Coordinate with city, municipal, and regulatory agencies to assist with permitting and approvals Support compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and applicable codes Qualifications 3+ years experience in construction coordination or project support (electrical preferred) Strong understanding of construction workflows and project execution Excellent communication skills — able to clearly understand, respond, and drive conversations forward Strong organizational and time-management abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Ability to identify issues early and take initiative to resolve them Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms (preferred) What We're Looking For Someone who operates ahead of problems, not behind them Strong communicator who can keep up with fast-paced discussions and changing priorities Comfortable making decisions and supporting operational flow Detail-oriented but also able to see the bigger picture Proactive — follows through and holds others accountable Reliable and consistent under pressure Key Difference From Administrative Roles This role is: Directly involved in project execution Responsible for coordination and flow of work Actively communicating with field and management teams daily This is not a back-end support role — this is a front-line operations position.
