Job Description

Description This position will report to the Senior Project Manager for the departments of Urology while supporting OB/GYN and Surgery. The project management team supports a wide range of projects for the three departments. Responsibilities will include coordinating projects, preparing deliverables, tracking and meeting timeline deliverables, completing substantive assignments and handling administrative tasks associated with projects, as necessary. This position exercises a substantial degree of independent judgment and creativity to identify problems and make sound recommendations to meet program objectives.
Hourly Salary Range:
$26.92 - $50.86.
Qualifications Required:
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. + 0-2 years of relevant experience. + Ability to work independently and also have interpersonal skills to work with teams. + Demonstrated writing skills to produce wide range of documents and deliverables. + Experience communicating effectively and professionally and working with a variety of internal and external partners, including UCLA administrators, outside funders, policy makers and community representatives. + Strong organizational skills to successfully work on and track complex programs involving short deadlines and multiple tasks, in coordination with multiple teams to achieve program/project mission and goals. + Working knowledge of program/project development, evaluation, creating datasets, financial management and reporting, research principles including CITI training, grant writing and proposal submission, University procedures and policies, program/project related federal and state regulations. + Ability to seek out and learn new policies, procedures, and software to advance the mission of the program/project. + Ability to train new program/project managers and other staff within and external to the unit.
