The Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) CIO requires project management support services for the Information Technology Office (ITO) Portfolio Management Office (PfMO). The PfMO provides full lifecycle project management as a service for new systems implementations, systems enhancements, upgrades, operations and maintenance, transition or transformation, and general staff augmentation for both major and minor investments. The Intermediate Project Manager will serve as a key contributor to the project management team, supporting the Senior Project Manager and directly managing assigned projects that span IT, microelectronics, and facility initiatives. This position interfaces between ITO and its customers to ensure cost, scope, schedule, and quality objectives are achieved.
Position Responsibility Summary:
Aid the Senior Project Manager in planning and implementing actions by an integrated project team to define baseline project scope and quality requirements for project products and services Manage the cost, scope, and schedule of assigned projects and serve as a project interface between ITO and its customer(s) Aid in planning, organizing, directing, executing, monitoring, and controlling all aspects of the project, including technology, scope, schedule, cost, communications, and customer satisfaction Interface with other project managers, task and functional leads, other contractors, support personnel, and other project stakeholders Manage small to moderate-risk projects with responsibility for managing many tasks or functions of a single project Provide project programmatic support and expertise in the areas of cost, schedule, and performance, including attendance at on-site DMEA meetings, working groups, and reviews Manage the cost, scope, and schedule of assigned projects and serve as a project interface between ITO and its customer(s) Aid in planning, organizing, directing, executing, monitoring, and controlling all aspects of the project, including technology, scope, schedule, cost, communications, and customer satisfaction Interface with other project managers, task and functional leads, other contractors, support personnel, and other project stakeholders Manage small to moderate-risk projects with responsibility for managing many tasks or functions of a single project Provide project programmatic support and expertise in the areas of cost, schedule, and performance, including attendance at on-site DMEA meetings, working groups, and reviews Manage the cost, scope, and schedule of assigned projects and serve as a project interface between ITO and its customer(s) Aid in planning, organizing, directing, executing, monitoring, and controlling all aspects of the project, including technology, scope, schedule, cost, communications, and customer satisfaction Interface with other project managers, task and functional leads, other contractors, support personnel, and other project stakeholders Manage small to moderate-risk projects with responsibility for managing many tasks or functions of a single project Provide project programmatic support and expertise in the areas of cost, schedule, and performance, including attendance at on-site DMEA meetings, working groups, and reviews
