This role will champion project health by helping maintain project execution alignment with contracted scope, fee, and schedule expectations for payment of invoices. Responsibilities:
Review of accounts receivable list, focusing on AR aged 45 days + Contact clients to understand the status of our invoices and the expected timing of payment Schedule meetings with Project Managers to discuss weekly project progress, and coordinate on the need for and follow up of additional service agreements/change orders Reporting at-risk projects to Operations Assist Project Managers in completion of billing reports, including special billing instructions and notations Assist Project Accountant in translating Project Manager billing instructions Coordinate with Project Managers to seek approval for the write off or held WIP of any project-related billings Assist Project Managers with close out of projects upon project completion
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or engineering preferred 2+ years of experience with project planning, coordination, operations, process, systems, management and/or project accounting & finance desired Familiarity with LiquidPlanner and Ajera preferred Familiarity with Microsoft Office Excellent communication and writing skills Experience working in energy & utility, construction, or engineering preferred
