$30+ per hour, based on experience

Full-time, Monday-Friday, in-office Join Midwest Drywall, Inc. — Where Quality Work and Strong Relationships Matter Midwest Drywall is a trusted drywall contractor serving clients throughout San Diego County. We're a smaller, hands-on company known for quality workmanship, reliable service, and long-standing relationships with our clients. We're looking for a Project Coordinator to help keep our projects organized, moving, and well-communicated from start to finish. This is an in-office role based in Oceanside and is a great fit for someone with drywall or construction experience who understands how many moving parts go into keeping projects on track. About the Role As our Project Coordinator, you'll help support multiple active jobs at once, typically averaging 6-10 projects at a time . These may range from smaller service work to high-end custom homes and the occasional commercial project. We're also big in the ADU segment. This role requires strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to stay calm while managing changing priorities in a dynamic field. You'll work closely with the company owner, department heads, vendors, and •most importantly• clients to ensure every project is properly scheduled, documented, and supported. What You'll Do (This list is not exhaustive) We're a smaller company looking for someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and taking initiative. Track project timelines, schedules, materials, and updates with great attention to detail and effectively communicate job specifics. Foster connections with current and potential clientele and partners, ensuring satisfaction and addressing day-to-day concerns calmly. Help coordinate crews, particularly with job starts, inspections, material needs, and project updates. Follow up on outstanding items without constant reminders to move operations in the right direction. This may include discussing estimates and their particularities. Serve as a reliable point of contact between the office, field crews, clients, vendors, and management. Work closely with our office and field leadership to keep project notes, documents, change orders, estimates, and invoices up to date in designated softwares. What We're Looking For 2+ years of drywall or construction-related experience involving logistics (required). Experience in project coordination, construction administration, estimating support, dispatching, scheduling, or a similar role is strongly preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities at once with consistent follow-through. Proficient computer literacy, including the use of spreadsheets and project management software. Strong communication skills. Speaking Spanish is a plus. What We Offer •Please note that insurance is not included•
Compensation:
$30+ per hour, based on experience, and paid weekly.
