Project Coordinator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Drafter and Shop Liaison to serve as the critical link between our customers and fabrication shop. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of architectural and construction drawings who can effectively translate design intent into practical fabrication requirements. The position is hands-on and collaborative, requiring both technical drafting skills and clear communication across teams.

Responsibilities:

Review and interpret architectural and construction drawings to ensure feasibility for fabrication. Act as the primary point of communication between clients and the shop, conveying project requirements, constraints, and updates. Translate customer needs into clear, actionable instructions for the fabrication team. Identify potential design or production issues and proactively recommend solutions. Create and modify CAD drawings as needed to support project execution. Ensure all drawings and specifications align with shop capabilities, materials, and timelines. Maintain accurate documentation of revisions, approvals, and project details. Collaborate closely with project managers, fabricators, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications:

Proven experience working with architectural and/or construction drawings. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar). Strong understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and shop limitations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders. High attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm

Pay:

$24.00 - $30.00 per hour
