Job Description

The Senior Water Project Manager selected for this opportunity will gain key public sector experience in water infrastructure design and construction that can effectively position you to pursue and obtain key, sought-after public sector jobs. We are looking for a Civil Engineer that has 10+ years of experience in water utility engineering to work on-site and full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) in the Oceanside area.
Projects may include:
Water and Sewer Pipeline Replacements Lift Station Design Water and Sewer Main Relocations As a Senior Water Project Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Lead and facilitate project meetings to support project planning, coordination, decision-making, and successful project delivery. Develop project scopes of work, identify and assemble appropriate project teams, and manage the consultant procurement process, including reviewing and evaluating proposals and Statements of Qualifications (SOQs). Manage project budgets throughout the project lifecycle. Provide overall project management and coordination for water infrastructure projects during pre-design, environmental review, design, right-of-way acquisition, permitting, and pre-construction phases to ensure project objectives, schedules, budgets, and deliverables are achieved. Oversee cost management activities, including cash flow forecasting, budget tracking, estimates-to-complete, expenditure analysis, change management, and identification of potential cost impacts. As a Senior Water Project Manager, you will have: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering or related field At minimum, 5 years of increasingly responsible professional water utility engineering experience, including project management experience Licensed California Professional Engineer (PE) Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship in the U.S.) Valid CA Driver's License and proof of insurance Must be able to commute to Oceanside, CA.
