We are seeking an immediate opening for a full‑time Electrical Construction Project Manager to support industrial water and wastewater treatment projects out of our Ontario, California office. Duties and Responsibilities Develop and lead project teams for industrial water and wastewater treatment plant electrical projects, delivering high-quality results while meeting scope, schedule, budget, and customer expectations. Drive project and portfolio profitability through disciplined execution Lead project technical execution, master schedules, contractual requirements, staffing plans, and resource allocation for treatment plant construction and upgrades. Continuously evaluate and improve systems and processes to meet treatment plant operational, regulatory, and reliability requirements. Manage, mentor, and develop project engineers, field supervisors, and project staff. Review and interpret contractual documents, specifications, and process electrical design criteria specific to industrial water and wastewater facilities. Ensure schedule milestones are met, adjusting priorities for changing plant operations, outages, tie‑ins, and commissioning requirements. Serve as the primary customer interface to ensure expectations are aligned and met before, during, and after project completion. Manage subcontractors and vendors to meet project, safety, and quality requirements in active plant environments. Lead project review processes with emphasis on financial forecasting, earned value, and cost control. Proactively communicate project risks, operational constraints, and successes to internal teams and customers. Oversee billing in accordance with project terms and manage change orders. Support and enforce a strong safety culture, particularly in live treatment plant environments with operational and environmental risks. Qualifications and Requirements Oversee and coordinate engineers on design‑build industrial water and wastewater treatment projects, ensuring efficient, constructible solutions. Minimum 5 years of project management experience in electrical construction, preferably within industrial treatment facilities or process-driven environments. Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including power distribution, controls, and instrumentation. Field experience coordinating with construction management in live or operational facilities. Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, estimating, take‑offs, change management, and contract administration.
Software experience:
Accubid, Accounting software (computer ease), Microsoft Office, Scheduling. Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationships and support business development in the industrial market. Proven ability to manage and deliver a profitable project portfolio. Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Electrical Engineering or Construction Management degree strongly preferred. Journeyman license a plus. Strong understanding of safety requirements for construction in industrial water and wastewater treatment plants. Design‑build experience strongly preferred.
