Project Manager - Structural Steel JD2 Incorporated Ontario, CA Job Details Full-time $87,179.45 - $104,990.30 a year 21 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Customer communication Coordinating with subcontractors on construction projects Materials management in construction Construction contract administration Problem-solving Working on construction estimation projects Full Job Description Position Summary The Project Manager is responsible for managing all phases of structural steel projects including estimating handoff, submittals, procurement coordination, scheduling, fabrication tracking, field coordination, budgeting, and client communication. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication and erection processes and can successfully manage multiple projects in a fast-paced construction environment. Key Responsibilities Manage structural steel projects from contract award to final completion Review project scope, drawings, specifications, and contract documents Coordinate with detailers, fabricators, erectors, general contractors, architects, and engineers Develop and maintain project schedules and milestones Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Monitor budgets, job costs, billing, and profitability Coordinate material procurement and delivery schedules Attend project meetings and provide progress updates Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements Resolve project issues proactively to maintain schedule and client satisfaction Support field teams during erection and installation phases Manage closeout documentation and final project turnover

$87,179.45 - $104,990.30 per year
