Summary:
The Estimating Coordinator provides essential support in the valuation and processing of incoming projects. Key responsibilities include maintaining data integrity within Microsoft Dynamics and facilitating clear communication between the company and its clients during the initial job intake phase.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
o Develop detailed repair estimates including labor, parts, and materials using internal systems and vendor quotes o Collaborate with service technicians, ASM's and engineers to determine scope of work and timelines o Communicate clearly with clients regarding repair options, costs, and schedules o Coordinate with procurement and vendors to source parts and materials o Work with NPS group as needed to provide replacement options to our customers o Maintain accurate records of estimates, work orders, and customer communications o Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations o Support preventative maintenance planning and rebuild programs o Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in estimating or service coordination within oil & gas or heavy industrial equipment preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of oilfield machinery and systems preferred
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
- Familiarity with OSHA and industry safety standards
- Technical certifications or vocational training in mechanical or industrial repair is a plus
