(MGE) is looking to add an Bid Coordinator to our construction family. The Construction Bid Coordinator supports the estimating and project teams by assisting with the preparation, organization, and submission of construction bids and proposals. This role is ideal for someone starting a career in construction administration, offering exposure to the bidding process and project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing and organizing bid documents, proposals, and submissions Track bid opportunities, deadlines, and submission requirements Distribute plans, specifications, and addenda to internal teams and subcontractors Help gather pricing and documentation from subcontractors and vendors Maintain accurate records of bids, contacts, and project data Assist with formatting and compiling bid packages Monitor bid portals and construction plan rooms for new opportunities Support prequalification and vendor registration processes Communicate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of bid materials Perform general administrative tasks related to estimating and bidding Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (degree in construction, business, or related field is a plus) 0-2 years of administrative, construction, or office experience Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Good written and verbal communication skills Willingness to learn construction terminology and processes Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills Familiarity with construction documents (plans and specifications) Experience or exposure to construction software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, PlanHub) Interest in construction, estimating, or project management career path Work Environment Office-based role with occasional collaboration with field teams Team-oriented environment with supervision and training provided Fast-paced during bid deadlines Growth Opportunities Estimator Project Coordinator / Project Manager Preconstruction Specialist Key Traits for Success Detail-oriented Organized and dependable Eager to learn Strong communicator Able to work under deadlines Benefits We offer benefits which includes paid vacations, PTO, medical, dental, vision, and profit sharing.
