Security Systems Project Manager T.R.L. Systems, Incorporated 9531 Milliken Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730 $90,000

Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures that regular and consistent communication takes place with both internal and external customers; acknowledges and addresses requests received via phone, email or company systems daily. Manages own time and resources to achieve identified objectives; is diligent in meeting all communicated/defined deadlines. Monitors and updates tickets assigned to them in company CRM. Develops full-scale project plans that communicate project expectations, deadline and budget. Assigns workplan/tickets accordingly ensuring appropriate resources are assigned. Manages the final project inspection prior to inspection with the Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to ensure project is according to code, client contract, and quality expectations. Conducts periodic on-site project evaluations to ensure compliance with the defined scope of work as well as TRL standards. Reviews any 'Out of Scope' work requests to ensure course of action; T&M, quote, no cost work, etc. Manages project budgets; identify budget changes throughout the life of the project. Submits change orders, makes WIP adjustments, and submits billing timely to ensure the projects financial health. Provides sales support to Account Executives; serves as a system/installation expert to assist with estimates and proposal development; can and be requested to participate in job walks. Assists with the development and growth of business relationships vital to the success of the company and Division. Adheres to all TRL Fleet policies and procedures; maintains both the appearance of their assigned vehicle and its inventory. Follows all inventory management procedures. Develops the onboarding plan and defines the expectations of new team members; identifies and schedules any training and/or certifications needed for team. Writes and administers performance reviews to grow and develop teams. Meets with subordinates to review their performance on a regular basis, defining and explaining management's expectations clearly to employees. Reviews and approves timesheets and expenses for assigned team members; ensures time is entered accordingly and accurately meeting all identified payroll approval deadlines. Participates in meetings, workshops, trainings and seminars as assigned for the purpose of performing job duties. Any additional duties as assigned. 8+ years in construction and/or low voltage installation 5+ years installing security systems in a commercial environment 5+ years in a leadership/project management role High School Diploma or Equivalent (required) Valid California driver license Proof of valid car insurance Manufacturer & continuing education training Associates in Business Management (preferred) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (preferred) Electrical Mechanic Trade School (preferred) Security/MfG Systems certifications (required- Specific industry experience may and can be considered in lieu of required certifications.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Ability to drive for 2+ hours in a work shift/day, daily. Ability to walk, bend, stoop, hear, and speak, daily. Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, under all temperature variations.
