The Project Manager is responsible for developing detailed work plans, implementing and evaluating programs and projects, coordinating project activities, collaborating with project team members, developing measurable project goals and objectives, and monitoring progress toward achievement. The Project Manager I will be expected to ensure adherence to quality standards and take projects from original concept through final implementation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and manage strategic project plans, including defining scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements, to ensure successful execution of assigned initiatives. Adheres to formalized project management processes and procedures and maintains updated project documentation in an organized digital filing system. Work with project teams to identify opportunities for process and quality improvements. Lead formalized RFP (Request for Proposal) process for projects requiring new vendor acquisition including gathering stakeholder requirements, developing RFP timeline, facilitating demo meetings, documenting vendor qualifications and obtaining, reviewing, and assisting with the negotiation of vendor contract in accordance with established vendor management procedures. Guides and directs project team members: defining roles and responsibilities, setting expectations, and delegating activities. EXPERIENCE

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. A Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience, is required. Minimum of two (2) years' experience leading and coordinating projects, including budget, resource, scope, and timeline management, as well as supporting project coordination and/or process improvement initiatives. Project Management certification (CAPM or PMP) is required. Ability to interact with teams and leadership on both technical and non-technical issues. High attention to detail along with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively. Ability to handle multiple projects while under heavy deadlines and constantly changing priorities. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with Project Teams, as well as Altura Credit Union and its Affiliate's staff and management. Knowledge of tools such as MS Project, Microsoft Visio/Lucid Chart and MS office suite and ability to learn new, unfamiliar software programs quickly and proficiently. Strong analytical and administrative skills. Demonstrated ability to produce documents, spreadsheets, databases, etc. with Windows-based software, as well as proficiency with the Internet.
