Overview:
Healthcare Project Coordinator II Location:
Sacramento, CA HGA's Sacramento, CA Healthcare team is seeking a Project Coordinator to lead design and technical efforts across multiple project phases and scales, contributing to project strategy, client engagement, and team leadership. This role will take ownership of complex assignments, drive coordination with consultants, and elevate project outcomes through precise documentation and thoughtful design work. As a core contributor, you'll work autonomously while guiding junior staff, influencing design direction, and partnering closely with Project Managers and Principals to keep projects on track. Success in this role hinges on confident leadership, clear communication, and sharp problem‑solving skills, along with a deepening understanding of how projects are delivered from concept to completion. In this role you will:
Lead development of architectural drawings, details, and design concepts. Conduct advanced design analyses and planning studies. Oversee production of construction documents and ensure technical accuracy. Integrate building systems and specifications into cohesive design solutions. Evaluate materials and methods for constructability, sustainability, and performance. Manage substantial portions of project scope, schedule, and deliverables. Lead coordination with consultants and internal teams across disciplines. Review and respond to submittals, RFIs, and field reports with professional judgment. Support construction administration through site visits and issue resolution. Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to quality assurance. Facilitate design meetings and client presentations with clarity and confidence. Collaborate with Project Managers and Principals on project strategy and execution. Mentor junior and intermediate staff, providing feedback and guidance. Foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture that supports learning and accountability. Continue expanding expertise in codes, specifications, and construction processes. Contribute to firmwide initiatives and thought leadership in design and delivery. Advance proficiency in BIM workflows, project management tools, and emerging technologies. Demonstrate initiative, strategic thinking, and a commitment to design excellence. What you will need to have: Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited institution. Typically, 7-10 years of professional experience. Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Experience with BIM workflows and project management tools (e.g., VantagePoint).
Salary Information:
The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA's robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs.
Salary Range:
$93,300 - $117,600 depending on qualifications and experience .
