This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being the operational backbone of a property—balancing resident relations, leasing support, financial coordination, and maintenance oversight. About the Role You'll partner closely with the Community Manager to ensure the property runs smoothly day‑to‑day. This includes supporting leasing efforts, coordinating maintenance activity, managing resident communication, and helping drive financial and operational performance. It's a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow into a Community Manager role and enjoys being hands‑on in a fast‑paced environment. Property Operations Assist with daily operations across the community Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation Conduct regular property walks and unit inspections Support safety, security, and adherence to regulations Resident Experience Build positive relationships with residents Support renewals, notices, and resident communication Enforce community policies and address concerns professionally Assist with legal notices and compliance processes Leasing & Occupancy Support leasing activity to maintain occupancy goals Conduct tours, process applications, and assist with move‑ins Review market comps and provide input on pricing and specials Help ensure units are market‑ready and presented at a high standard Financial & Administrative Support Assist with rent collection and delinquency management Review invoices, coding, and vendor billing for accuracy Provide input on budgets, projections, and financial reporting Maintain organized documentation and reporting schedules Maintenance Coordination Partner with maintenance teams to manage work orders and unit turns Monitor aging work orders and ensure timely completion Coordinate vendor activity and maintain strong working relationships Team Collaboration Support on‑site staff with daily tasks and communication Participate in team meetings and performance discussions Help reinforce operational standards and company policies What You Bring 2-5 years of experience in property management or a related role Strong understanding of multifamily operations and regulations Excellent communication, organization, and customer‑service skills Ability to multitask, stay organized, and adapt quickly Comfortable learning new systems and technology Valid driver's license and reliable transportation CAM certification is a plus Who Thrives Here Professionals who enjoy being the "go‑to" person on site People who are detail‑oriented, resourceful, and solutions‑driven Individuals who want to grow into a Community Manager role Those who value teamwork, consistency, and resident experience Physical Expectations This role requires regular walking of the property, climbing stairs, inspecting units, and occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
