Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced professional to support our team in delivering commercial construction projects, with a primary focus on life sciences and technology spaces. Our team values collaboration, proactive problem-solving, and attention to detail for successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Assist with project oversight from design through closeout, coordinating day-to-day activities and maintaining critical project documentation. Independently manage smaller tenant improvement assignments, handling all project phases through occupancy and acting as primary owner's representative. Monitor construction quality and progress through regular site walks, issue documentation, punch list tracking, and coordination of inspections. Facilitate weekly project meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, track action items, and communicate status updates to clients and stakeholders.
Required:
5-10 years of construction project management or coordination experience, including exposure to commercial tenant improvement projects. Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and building systems, with the ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and scheduling tools. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
