Job Description

Generation Contracting & Emergency Services Inc. is looking to add a new Property Repair Project Manager. As a new member of our nationally recognized company, you will be responsible for project life cycle management of contracts secured by sales. With your excellent communication skills, you will be responsible for the performance of Foreman, subcontractors, and vendors. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.
Job Duties:
  • Attends Production and Field Staff Level 10 Meetings
  • Completes budgets and schedules on time with a 40% profit target
  • Attends companywide Safety meetings, seminars and/or trainings
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with subcontractors and referral sources.
  • Consistently meet or exceed Production Department Scorecard as determined by the executive team.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and support of Generation's mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies, procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethics.
  • Liaison between all job contacts on accuracy and scheduling of Structure Repair jobs as define by GCES procedures and estimating practices.
Job Procedures:
Job Start/Pre-Construction Meetings, Job Budget, Job Schedule, Changes/Supplements/Additional Work Authorizations, Walk Throughs, Job Completion, Final Walk Throughs, Collections, Billing and Contingencies
    Operation Procedures:
    Purchasing, Subcontracts, AP Invoice and Payroll Approval Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related degree + 3 years' experience preferred or 7 years of relevant experience
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a remote employee (i.e., different job sites) preferred
    • Must have the ability to be respirator fit and wear respirator if needed
    • Must have excellent customer service skills.
    • Must have strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Proven ability to work professionally with senior executives and clients, think and work independently, be proactive, handle confidential information and work effectively and efficiently.

    Full-time Salary:
    $65,000.00-$80,000.00 /year Working Conditions All business-related environments are smoke-free. Must have valid driver's license, valid auto insurance coverage, reliable transportation, reliable phone, and Internet access. Must be available to work non-traditional hours such as late nights and weekends. Physical Requirements Able to remain in a sitting position for prolonged periods of time and stoop, bend, reach, climb stairs, and move freely throughout the building for the performance of duties. Able to read from a computer or laptop monitor for several hours at a time including fonts of various sizes from a variety of sources. Must be able to push, pull and lift objects (boxed documents, material deliveries, etc.), up to 30 pounds, in and out of office for travel by car and by air. Able to travel locally 75% of the time and out of state up to 25% of the time as needed to meet with clients, coworkers, or attend meetings and seminars.
