Sales & Project Manager Jahn Inc. San Jose, CA Job Details Full-time $65,000 - $70,000 a year 13 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Construction management software Outside sales Inside sales Construction industry experience B2B sales Direct sales Enterprise sales Full Job Description We're looking for someone who can do it all — find the work, price it right, and then see it through to the end. This is a rare role that combines sales, estimating, and project management into one position, which means no two days look the same. One morning you might be meeting a new client to walk a potential job, and by afternoon you're reviewing a subcontractor bid or checking in on an active project. If you thrive in that kind of environment and have the construction background to back it up, we want to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing Identify and pursue new construction opportunities — through networking, referrals, cold outreach, whatever works Meet with prospective clients, understand what they need, and build the kind of relationships that turn into repeat business Be the main point of contact for clients from the first conversation through the final walkthrough Review plans and specs, perform takeoffs, and put together detailed, accurate estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, and subs Solicit and compare subcontractor quotes; make sure bids are sharp and submitted on time Prepare proposals and presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals Take awarded projects and run them — build the schedule, manage the budget, coordinate with subs and vendors, and keep everything moving Catch problems early, handle change orders, and make sure the finished product meets client expectations Keep your documentation clean: project records, cost tracking, sales reports, CRM updates What We're Looking For You need at least 3-5 years of experience in construction sales, estimating, or project management — ideally a mix of all three. You should be comfortable reading plans and building cost estimates from scratch, and you should have a track record of winning jobs and delivering them. Strong communication skills matter a lot here since you'll be the face of the company to clients. Familiarity with estimating and project management software is important. An existing local network of clients, developers, or GCs would give you a head start. A degree in Construction Management, Business, or Engineering is preferred but not required if your experience speaks for itself. Compensation We offer a competitive base salary, commission or performance bonuses tied to sales and project profitability, full health/dental/vision benefits, company vehicle allowance, paid time off, and real room to grow with a company that's moving fast. To Apply Please email with the subject line "Sales & Project Manager."
