What You Can Expect Key Responsibilities PMO Leadership & Strategy Define and implement the overall IT PMO strategy, governance framework, methodologies, and best practices. Establish standardized project management processes, tools, templates, and reporting mechanisms. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery maturity and operational effectiveness. Develop KPIs and performance metrics to measure project success and PMO effectiveness. Portfolio & Program Management Manage the IT project portfolio, ensuring prioritization aligns with strategic business goals. Oversee large-scale enterprise programs and cross-functional initiatives. Monitor project health, budgets, schedules, dependencies, risks, and resource utilization. Provide executive-level reporting and dashboards on portfolio performance. Stakeholder Management Partner with senior business and IT leaders to define priorities and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Facilitate steering committee meetings and executive reviews. Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders at all levels. Financial & Resource Management Oversee IT project budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking. Optimize allocation of project managers Support vendor management, contract negotiations, and third-party engagements related to project delivery. Governance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and security standards. Establish project governance controls, stage gates, and approval processes. Identify and mitigate program and project risks proactively. Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and develop PMO staff, project managers, and program managers. Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and innovation. Drive training and adoption of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field. 10+ years of experience in IT project/program management with increasing leadership responsibility. 5+ years of experience managing enterprise PMO functions or large-scale IT portfolios. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid). Experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets and enterprise-wide initiatives. Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
