Job Description
DESCRIPTION
A project coordinator is a key component in our company who executes the daily ongoing tasks toward completion of a project. We are looking for people who exhibit traits to plan effectively and foresee potential problems and issues with a project. The individual needs to be able to remain calm under pressure when issues arise on projects. It is essential that the candidate for this position possess the following qualities: Dedication to produce excellent work daily. Communicates effectively with customers, installation crews, distributors, and management and is responsive when working in a remote setting Cordial, attentive, and responsible individual. Thinks "outside the box" and possess a "Get it Done" attitude.RESPONSIBILITIES
Books new projects ensuring that all required documentation is in place at time of booking including but not limited to contract, proposal, and cost sheet (projected budget worksheet). Creates prelims, certification of insurance, submittals, and project close outs. Coordinates by creating purchase orders and work orders based off cost sheets. Orders the required materials for the project. Processes material returns when needed Prepares installation packets including work orders, plans, and material load out sheets Manages material deliveries and budgets, labor budgets, and coordinates labor installation dates to ensure a successful project. Creates change order requests derived from the approved cost sheet and maintains change order log. Manages under billings by invoicing customers using multiple formats including schedule of values. Closes projects using closeout procedures. Maintains and manages all files related to projects and team paperworkSKILLS:
Detail oriented Strong critical thinking skills and basic math skills Strong written and oral communication skills Good customer service skills and a professional demeanor and attitude Ability to read and interpret written information Strong organization skills required with the ability to prioritize and plan work assignments Self-motivated and a self-starter Must be accountable and punctualEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required Work Experience to include similar responsibilities and requirements as outline above 2+ years' experience in a Project Coordinator roleJob Type:
