If you have any questions, feel free to email us at Job Summary We are seeking an experienced New Site Build Project Manager to manage the full lifecycle of wireless telecommunications new site construction projects — from initiation and permitting through construction execution and closeout. New site build experience is required for this role, and candidates with demonstrated experience managing new site builds across raw land, colocation, rooftop, and utility pole site types are strongly encouraged to apply. In this role, you will serve as the central coordination point for all project execution activity — owning the client relationship and all project financials for your assigned portfolio, providing project-level work direction to assigned Project Coordinators and Construction Managers, and coordinating with the warehouse team to ensure materials, equipment, and customer assets are consistently aligned with project schedules and field requirements. You will also be responsible for ensuring that every supporting role — PC, CM, and warehouse — is communicating effectively and working in sync toward seamless project delivery. Key Responsibilities Project Management &Client Communication Represents Nuwave with the highest degree of professionalism in all situations Manages assigned new site build projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring full adherence toschedule, budget, and scope Leads internal and customer project kickoff meetings, ensuring PCs, CMs, and warehouse are aligned on scope, schedule, roles, and deliverables from day one Serves as the primary client point of contact for assigned projects; manages all customer correspondence, conference calls, and on-site meetings Communicates project status, risks, and updates to clients and internal stakeholders proactively and in a timely manner Grows and maintains customer stakeholder relationships by building trust and confidence Tracks and updates project milestones in the database of record; maintains complete and accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle Manages conflicts and escalations between Nuwave personnel, subcontractors, and customers Supports pre-sales activities and participates in contract preparation as directed Reporting, Forecasting & Planning Prepares and distributes weekly project status reports for the assigned portfolio, including schedule updates, milestone tracking, risk flags, and action items for internal and client stakeholders Maintains current schedule and financial forecasts for all assigned projects; updates projections weekly, presents project-level performance summaries, and proactively communicates deviations and mitigation plans to the Market Manager and clients Prepares and submits financial reports for assigned projects, including job cost summaries, invoicing status, change order logs, and budget-to-actual variance tracking Participates in internal planning meetings and client program reviews; comes prepared with current project data, clearly articulated priorities, and up-to-date performance summaries Directs PCs on reporting and documentation tasks; reviews their work for accuracy and completeness before submission to clients or leadership Ensures all project documentation — status reports, forecasts, financial summaries, and closeout records — is accurate, complete, and maintained in the database of record Team Coordination & Project Execution Provides project-level work direction to assigned Project Coordinators and Construction Managers, ensuring all roles remain aligned on priorities, schedules, and client expectations Coordinates tasking with warehouse personnel to ensure materials, equipment, and customer assets are staged, tracked, and available in alignment with project schedules and field requirements Serves as the central communication hub between PCs, CMs, and the warehouse team — proactively identifying and resolving coordination gaps before they impact project delivery Sets internal construction schedules in collaboration with CMs; monitors crew and subcontractor performance and provides detailed tracking and reporting Works with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate inventory and tracking of materials and customer assets throughout the project lifecycle Attends bid walks and site walks as required; prepares site and materials costs and ensures quotes and scoping forms are completed Ensures pre-construction walk details are reviewed with operations prior to work commencing Schedules equipment call-offs and pick-ups in coordination with CMs and warehouse Provides over-the-phone and on-site support to operations personnel as needed Financial Management Owns all project financial activity for the assigned portfolio — job costing, change order preparation, customer invoicing, and billing error resolution Reviews and approves or denies vendor invoices; works with accounts payable on open PO reports Reviews daily equipment call-off reports for discrepancies; responds to customer purchase order requests as required Coordinates with PCs on financial tracking and reporting tasks as assigned Permitting & Compliance Manages permitting activity for assigned projects, including applications, follow-ups, inspections, and jurisdictional submissions Ensures all required permits are tracked and closed on schedule; proactively addresses jurisdictional delays to protect construction timelines Coordinates with PCs to ensure permit tracking and documentation are maintained accurately Subcontractor & Vendor Management Manages subcontractor site assignments and crew support in coordination with assigned CMs Ensures all subcontractors are fully onboarded prior to mobilization — including verification of current Certificate of Insurance (COI), crew certifications, and completion of all required project-level training Maintains accurate subcontractor compliance records; flags and resolves any gaps in onboarding, insurance, or certification status Submits construction drawings and specifications for subcontractor quotations; analyzes bids and supports contract award decisions Monitors subcontractor progress through regular coordination with CMs; escalates performance concerns as appropriate Reviews subcontractor invoices and approves or denies based on work performed Safety Ensures all internal crews and subcontractors assigned to their projects are current on required safety certifications and that a current Certificate of Insurance (COI) is on file before subcontractors are assigned work Monitors safety compliance across assigned projects through regular communication with CMs; escalates non-compliance to the Market Manager Supports CMs in the coordination and scheduling of safety meetings, including bi-weekly safety meetings as required by the project program Oversees incident reporting for assigned projects; ensures all accidents, incidents, and near-miss events are documented and reported to Nuwave leadership and the client in accordance with company policy and contractual requirements Supports Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for safety incidents; coordinates follow-up actions and client reporting in coordination with the Safety Manager Ensures all project-level safety training requirements are completed by crews and subcontractors prior to mobilization Completes all required safety and compliance training as assigned Closeout & Quality Ensures timely COP deliverable submission for the assigned portfolio; coordinates with the COP department and directs PCs and CMs to ensure internal review is completed and all customer submissions meet agreed timelines Performs quality assurance audits on jobs; ensures thorough close-out of all punch items Ensures the full project team — PCs, CMs, and warehouse — is aligned on closeout requirements with no deliverables falling through the gaps between roles Qualifications Minimum Requirements 6+ years of telecommunications experience in New Site Build construction, network rollout, and/or project management 4+ years in New Site Build project management Demonstrated experience managing wireless telecom new site builds, including raw land, colocation, rooftop, and/or utility pole site types Experience working with one or more of the following carriers: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and/or Dish/Boost Mobile Experience managing project financials including job costing, change orders, and customer invoicing Experience managing subcontractor compliance, including COI verification, crew certification tracking, and project-level training requirements Experience preparing weekly project status reports, schedule and financial forecasts, and budget-to-actual reporting Familiarity with wireless construction documentation including RFDSs, NTPs, construction drawings, and MOPs Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, RFDSs, NTPs, and MOPs Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive, and Teams Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (U.S. citizenship or valid work authorization required) Valid U.S. driver's license with clean driving record Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Project or equivalent project scheduling tool Familiarity with PMI PMP methodology Experience with customer-facing telecom program management portals and databases of record OSHA 30 First Aid/CPR RF Awareness Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan with company match Paid time off and holidays Ongoing training and career development opportunities
