Salary $70k to $90k Position Summary The Project Manager plays a critical leadership role at Haggerty Construction, managing residential, commercial, and industrial loss projects from estimate through completion. Using Xactimate software, the Project Manager creates accurate scopes of work, coordinates with clients and adjusters, and oversees all aspects of the project lifecycle to ensure on-time, high-quality, and budget-conscious projects. This role requires travel and a strong balance of technical, managerial, and interpersonal skills. Job Objectives Produce highly accurate Xactimate estimates with minimal revision. Lead projects efficiently from inception to completion while ensuring adherence to budgets, safety standards, and client satisfaction. Serve as the primary point of contact for property owners, adjusters, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain regulatory and program compliance in line with industry standards and third-party administrator (TPA) requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Create and manage residential and commercial estimates in Xactimate, including detailed floor plans and multi-level sketches. Adhere to Haggerty's naming conventions for all estimate-related documentation. Oversee construction schedules, budget compliance, and change order management. Communicate frequently with clients, adjusters, and internal teams on progress and project requirements. Coordinate emergency response services (board-ups, water, fire, vandalism) as needed. Lead project meetings and maintain documentation per company and regulatory standards. Identify site hazards such as asbestos, lead, or mold and ensure proper remediation practices. Enforce site safety and protocols and report incidents within 24 hours. Conduct vehicle inspections, maintain emergency kits and documentation binders. Supervise subcontractors and internal teams in the field, ensuring adherence to project specifications. Generate and close punch lists, complete final walk-throughs, and ensure quality control. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
Proficient in Xactimate, Sketch, and Microsoft Office Suite Strong understanding of construction practices and applicable codes Residential estimating experience up to $3 million and commercial up to $15 million Proficient with investigative and controlled demolition, decontamination, and structure cleaning Advanced knowledge of safety protocols and SDS compliance
Preferred/Considered:
Minimum 5 years' experience in construction, restoration, or estimating Core Competencies Technical Accuracy
