Vernon, CA GFI is a rapidly growing hospitality manufacturing, project management, and installation company specializing in custom window treatments for hotels and commercial projects throughout the United States and internationally. As GFI continues to expand, we are seeking a highly organized, driven, and accountable Project Manager who is looking for more than just a job. At GFI, Project Managers play a critical role in the success of the company. This position offers direct exposure to ownership, leadership involvement in major hospitality projects, and the opportunity to grow professionally within an expanding organization. This is not a passive "sit behind a desk" role. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates effectively, solves problems proactively, and knows how to keep projects moving under pressure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage hospitality projects from award through final installation Coordinate with customers, designers, purchasing companies, installers, vendors, and internal departments Review project specifications, drawings, finish schedules, and approvals Track project schedules, lead times, production status, freight, and installation coordination Conduct internal follow-up with manufacturing, shipping, accounting, and installation departments Maintain accurate project documentation and communication records Identify potential issues early and proactively solve problems Manage RFIs, submittals, approvals, and change orders Attend project meetings and customer calls Work closely with ownership and senior leadership Help maintain accountability, urgency, and communication throughout the project lifecycle
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience preferred Hospitality, construction, manufacturing, millwork, textiles, window treatments, or FF&E experience is strongly preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong follow-up and problem-solving ability Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and project tracking systems Ability to read specifications and construction drawings is preferred Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
