Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead operational projects across warehouse, transportation, logistics, and supply chain functions Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, milestones, and communication plans Partner with operational leaders to identify process improvement opportunities and operational efficiencies Assist with implementation and rollout of operational initiatives, SOPs, and standardized processes Monitor project progress and provide status updates to leadership teams Facilitate project meetings, action tracking, and follow-up accountability Support warehouse and transportation optimization initiatives including workflow improvements, labor utilization, inventory accuracy, and process consistency Collaborate with IT and Operations teams on system implementations and process enhancements including WMS, ERP, reporting tools, and operational technology Analyze operational data, KPIs, and trends to support decision-making and continuous improvement Help coordinate new site launches, operational transitions, integrations, and expansion projects Ensure projects maintain compliance with food safety, regulatory, and company standards Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize operational disruption Develop project documentation including timelines, SOPs, process maps, and reporting dashboards Support change management efforts and operational communication during project rollouts Maintain strong cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment and execution success Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Logistics, or related field preferred 3-5 years of project management, operations, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain experience preferred Experience in food distribution, cold storage, transportation, or high-volume operations strongly preferred Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Proven ability to lead projects and drive execution across cross-functional teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with operational reporting and KPI tracking Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Experience working with WMS, ERP, or operational systems preferred PMP certification or formal project management training is a plus Ability to travel as needed to operational sites Key Competencies Project Management Operational Excellence Process Improvement Cross-Functional Collaboration Change Management Communication Problem Solving Time Management Data Analysis Accountability Continuous Improvement Leadership & Influence Work Environment & Physical Requirements Combination of office and warehouse environments May require standing and walking through warehouse facilities for extended periods Ability to travel to distribution centers and operational sites as needed Must be comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer environments when required
