The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable coordinating multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. This role works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to Steady's quality standards. Responsibilities Project Management & Coordination Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution Manage smaller projects independently from kickoff to close-out Track progress, identify risks, and support problem-solving in real time Coordinate daily activities with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors Contracts, Costs & Procurement Assist in preparing subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and change orders Review bids for scope accuracy, pricing, and schedule alignment Support cost tracking, monthly billing, and budget-vs-actual reporting Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and long-lead items Permitting, Inspections & Compliance Submit and track permits with city/county agencies Schedule inspections and manage responses to comments Ensure all work complies with plans, specifications, and code requirements Documentation & Communication Maintain RFIs, submittals, logs, meeting minutes, and project documentation in Procore Provide regular updates to clients, design partners, and internal teams Support turnover of completed projects, punchlists, close-outs, and final reports Requirements 2-4 years of experience in commercial construction or project management Ability to read drawings, specifications, and construction documents Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook; experience with Procore is a plus Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive Preferred Qualifications Experience in design-build, tenant improvement, industrial, or infrastructure projects Familiarity with jurisdictional permitting processes Understanding of multiple disciplines (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical) Experience with estimating, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor coordination
