This role will coordinate communication between tenants, owners, and city representatives, helping keep the project on schedule while minimizing disruption to businesses. This position is best suited for someone who is comfortable working on-site, managing multiple stakeholders, and handling day-to-day project issues in a fast-moving environment. Responsibilities Act as the main point of contact for tenants regarding construction schedules, access, and impacts Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and inspectors to track progress and timelines Help plan and adjust work phases to reduce disruption to tenant operations Communicate with city officials and assist with permits, inspections, and compliance tracking Maintain organized project records, schedules, and status updates Identify and resolve day-to-day issues involving access, logistics, and tenant concerns Conduct site walks and report on progress, risks, and delays Support ownership with general project coordination and property-related needs Qualifications 2+ years of experience in construction coordination, property management, or a similar role Strong communication skills, especially in tenant-facing situations Ability to manage competing priorities and shifting schedules Organized and detail-oriented with good follow-through Comfortable working on-site and interacting with contractors and tenants daily Experience with retail or commercial properties preferred Familiarity with permits and city processes preferred Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Must have reliable personal transportation to and from jobsite and office(s). Schedule & Compensation $40/hour, Flexible part-time hours (15-20/week), with availability during active construction periods. This is a temporary, contractual role that will conclude once the parking lot renovation is completed.
