Job Description
We are seeking a Director of Operations and Special Projects for our Broomfield, CO location. This role is a hands ‑ on, results-driven, execution ‑ oriented position that ensures operational rigor, follow ‑ through, and delivery across CPG leadership priorities and special initiatives. The role is segmented into two parts: the first part is an operations leader, focusing on turning strategy into action, executing operating cadence, and driving accountability across CPG teams. The second part is a special projects leader being the owner and driver of key specific project initiatives. This role will report to the CVP/GM of CPG. \n
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Leader (50% - Operational Focus) Own the day ‑ to ‑ day operating rhythm for the organization, including tracking status actions and conducting follow-ups both for teams inside and outside of CPG Prepare concise, execution ‑ focused materials for staff meetings, reviews, and townhalls Identify execution risks, bottlenecks, and resourcing gaps; escalate and resolve proactively Drive clarity on priorities, timelines, and dependencies across large, global, technical teams, reflecting the priorities and expectations of the business Assist with preparing and executing communication plans, in coordination with communications teams Own the Monthly Operations Review process and cadence, including scheduling, agendas, continuous improvement, and actions Track the progress on OKRs and organizational KPIs, proactively addressing or escalating issues Proactive Coordination on topics with cross-functional leadership teams, CEO, Chief of Staff, and CVP/GM executive assistant Special Projects Responsibilities (50% - Delivery Focus) Working with the Vice President of Strategy for CPG and other cross-functional organizations, receive the project hand-off as strategies are defined and transitioned into execution Lead the execution of longer-term strategic initiatives and complex initiatives with clear scope, schedules, and success metrics Coordinate and track work across multiple functions to ensure timely execution Drive disciplined progress reviews and course ‑ correct as needed YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelors degree minimum Minimum 15+ years of experience (post education) as a business or technical leader in a high-tech company or department Minimum 3+ years prior experience in executive Chief-of-staff or business operations role WE VALUE
