Full‑Time Position Overview AT‑PD is seeking a Sr Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex mission‑critical and data center construction projects in Colorado Springs, CO . This role is responsible for full life‑cycle project execution—from early preconstruction engagement through commissioning and turnover—while ensuring exceptional performance across schedule, cost, quality, and safety . The Sr Project Manager will serve as the primary owner's representative and internal leader on high‑value, technically complex projects, with a strong emphasis on MEP systems, critical infrastructure, and phased/operational environments . Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Delivery Provide overall leadership for mission‑critical and data center projects , including TI, retrofit, and ground‑up scopes. Lead projects from preconstruction and contract award through commissioning and closeout . Maintain a strong onsite presence, acting as the day‑to‑day leader responsible for execution excellence. Ensure alignment with AT‑PD standards, client expectations, and mission‑critical best practices. Schedule, Cost & Contract Management Develop, maintain, and enforce master project schedules , milestone plans, and phasing strategies. Manage project budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and cost reporting with a high degree of accuracy. Oversee procurement, buyout strategies, subcontractor negotiations, and contract administration. Manage change events proactively, including pricing, documentation, and client communication. Mission‑Critical Systems Oversight Provide Sr‑level oversight of MEP coordination , including power, cooling, controls, and life‑safety systems. Ensure proper installation, testing, and documentation of critical systems. Lead or support commissioning planning and execution , including ISTs and integrated testing activities. Coordinate closely with design teams, vendors, and commissioning agents. Stakeholder & Client Management Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, designers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal leadership. Lead OAC meetings, technical coordination sessions, and executive‑level project updates. Build strong, trust‑based client relationships through clear communication and consistent delivery. Risk, Quality & Safety Leadership Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure strict adherence to AT‑PD quality standards and mission‑critical requirements. Champion a strong safety‑first culture , ensuring compliance with company and site‑specific safety programs. Team Leadership & Mentorship Lead and mentor Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and field teams. Foster a collaborative, accountable, high‑performance project team environment. Support talent development and knowledge transfer within AT‑PD's mission‑critical group. Qualifications Required 10+ years of construction project management experience, with a strong focus on data centers or mission‑critical facilities . Proven experience delivering MEP‑intensive projects in live, phased, or high‑reliability environments. Demonstrated success managing large budgets, complex schedules, and multiple stakeholders. Strong understanding of commissioning processes and critical infrastructure systems. Ability to be onsite in Colorado Springs for project execution. Excellent leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills. Preferred Experience with hyperscale, colocation, federal, or secure facilities . working for a GC, CM, or specialized mission‑critical builder. Proficiency with project management and scheduling tools (Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.). Engineering, construction management, or related degree (or equivalent experience).
