  • Underground Utilities A fast‑growing and highly respected heavy civil contractor in the Denver metro area is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support continued expansion across earthwork and utility projects.
This is a great opportunity to join a company on the rise, with clear pathways for long‑term growth and leadership. Position Overview The Project Manager will oversee mid-sized civil construction projects , typically in the $1M
  • 5M range , with a focus on earthwork, excavation, and underground utilities .
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the field, working alongside strong superintendents, and driving projects from award through completion. Key Responsibilities Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout Oversee earthwork, grading, and underground utility installation (water, sewer, storm) Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and owners Manage subcontracts, procurement, RFIs, and change orders Monitor project performance, productivity, and cost control Ensure compliance with safety standards and contract requirements Build strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders Required Experience 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction project management Background in: Earthwork / mass grading / excavation Underground utilities (water, sewer, storm) Experience managing projects in the $1M
  • 5M range preferred Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field operations Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills What's Offered Competitive base salary $120K
