Job Description

Job Summary Our client a leading communications provider is seeking a Infrastructure Project Manager II to join their team! This position is located in Greenwood Village, Colorado. In this role, you will not just sit in the background or pass information from one party to another; you will actively lead enterprise-wide, medium- to long-term initiatives that critically impact the business. You will have full budget, fiscal, scope, and schedule responsibility (the triple constraint) across multiple departments. The ideal candidate quickly grasps what makes our business customers tick, anticipates technical friction points, and confidently steers complex technical teams toward high-quality, timely delivery. Core Responsibilities Manage and control all aspects of project delivery (scope, schedule, and budget) Actively affect project timelines by seeking out responses, resolving blockers, and driving accountability across IT delivery teams Responsible for crafting high-quality project and executive-level status reports Broker consensus, manage conflict, and confidently tailor communications for audiences ranging from lower-level technical teams to senior executives Maintain full budget and fiscal responsibility for all assigned infrastructure initiatives Coordinate effectively with outside resources, including vendors, contingent labor, and the PMO, to ensure seamless execution Own and drive robust project documentation and execution techniques using standard tools (Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PPT, Visio) Lead impactful, greenfield, and critical environment-hardening initiatives Lead high-level security projects, such as standardizing Active Directory service accounts, establish emergency admin password rotation protocols across complex network hardware (like load balancers), and mitigate enterprise-wide infrastructure vulnerabilities Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) 5+ years of practical project management experience with full, standalone responsibility for end-to-end project delivery Proven track record managing medium- to long-term Network, Data Center, Systems, Security, and Monitoring/Observability infrastructure projects Strong proficiency with the traditional Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), utilizing Waterfall and/or Agile frameworks as appropriate for infrastructure deployment PMP certification or Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) is strictly required Candidates must demonstrate a stable work history; no unexplained gaps or highly repetitive job-hopping Key Competencies & Behaviors Exceptional ability to balance scope, time, and budget in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality Ability to methodically analyze complex business and technical situations, align projects with organizational strategy, and develop structured solutions Comfortable with ambiguity; a quick learner who adapts swiftly to changing requirements and applies lessons learned on the fly Ability to read people, build high-performing cross-functional teams, and produce desired outcomes and behavioral changes through persuasive debate rather than direct command A passionate advocate for project outcomes who meets deadlines, balances multiple competing priorities, and stays calm and poised under pressure

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range:
The approximate pay range for this position is between $20.00 and $28.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
