The Role:
As a Restoration Rebuild Project Manager at Western Disaster Clean Up, you will play a pivotal role in managing the reconstruction and rebuild phase of projects following disaster events such as fires, floods, and storms. You will lead teams to execute high-quality restoration and rebuild work, coordinate trades and subcontractors, and oversee the complete restoration of residential and commercial properties to pre-loss condition. Effective team leadership, customer communication, and adherence to industry standards are critical to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the rebuild and reconstruction phase of assigned mitigation-to-rebuild projects. Ensure compliance with Western Disaster Clean Up's processes, policies, and industry best practices, while adhering to local building codes and regulations. Collaborate closely with Mitigation Managers, Project Coordinators, Technicians, and subcontractors to ensure a seamless transition from mitigation to full restoration. Oversee all documentation, permitting, scheduling, and administrative tasks related to rebuild projects, ensuring efficient and timely completion. Review and manage estimates for reconstruction work, change orders, and ensure adherence to program, insurance carrier, and TPA guidelines. Meet operational objectives related to sales, gross margin, job profitability, and brand experience. Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with vendors, tradesmen, and subcontractors to optimize project performance and control costs. Provide regular project updates to customers, insurance adjusters, and internal stakeholders. Participate in the Restoration Rebuild Project Manager on-call rotation and support team members as needed. Please note, the above responsibilities are not exhaustive, and additional tasks may be assigned as required.
Position Qualifications:
Preferred 2+ years of experience in property restoration rebuild or construction project management. Strong knowledge of residential and commercial reconstruction practices, including framing, drywall, flooring, painting, cabinetry, and finishing work. Understanding of water, fire, and mold damage repair sequences and best practices. Preferred IICRC Certifications and/or construction-related certifications (e.g., PMP, CGR, or equivalent). Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Team player with a positive, proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail. Ability to develop, learn, and implement operational procedures effectively. Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift weights ranging from 5 to 100 lbs. Exposure to moderate to loud noise levels. Prolonged periods of standing, walking job sites, or sitting in a stationary position. Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor conditions as needed.
