United States The Opportunity:
As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of complex mechanical construction packages from project award through to completion. Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents and field teams, you'll help coordinate project activities, maintain schedules, control costs and ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This role offers exceptional exposure to every stage of the construction lifecycle and provides a clear pathway towards becoming a Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Project Managers with the day-to-day delivery of mechanical construction projects Coordinate RFIs, technical submittals and project documentation Assist with procurement of mechanical equipment and materials Track project schedules, milestones and key deliverables Support budgeting, forecasting and cost control activities Prepare and process change orders Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams Review subcontractor applications and supplier invoices Monitor project progress and maintain accurate reporting Help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for motivated construction professionals who want to continue developing their careers within the mechanical construction industry. You'll ideally have: 2-5 years' experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer or similar Experience within HVAC, mechanical piping, plumbing, process piping or industrial mechanical construction Strong communication and organisational skills A proactive, solutions-focused approach Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related degree preferred Previous field experience is highly desirable Experience using Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 or similar construction management software is advantageous
