Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Industrial Coatings Project Manager to lead and oversee complex coating projects within industrial settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage all phases of coating projects, from initial planning through execution, ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring strong construction management expertise, exceptional project coordination skills, and a passion for delivering results on time and within scope. Responsibilities Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of industrial coatings projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project delivery. Develop detailed project estimates using construction estimating tools and manage procurement processes efficiently. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, and HeavyBid for project tracking, scheduling, and resource allocation. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure precise execution of coating specifications and technical requirements. Oversee construction site activities related to coating applications, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry standards. Monitor project progress through regular site visits, utilizing Civil 3D for site layout assessments when necessary. Manage project documentation including change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and progress reports. Ensure effective communication across all stakeholders to maintain momentum and resolve issues promptly. Implement best practices in project management to optimize time management and resource utilization. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management with a focus on industrial coatings or related fields. Strong knowledge of construction estimating software such as HeavyBid or similar tools. Proficiency with project scheduling software including Primavera P6 or equivalent. Familiarity with construction management platforms like ProCore and Bluebeam for document control and collaboration. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and schematics related to heavy industrial projects. Experience with civil site work using Civil 3D is preferred. Excellent understanding of contracts, safety regulations, and quality standards within the construction industry. Demonstrated skills in project coordination, time management, and effective communication across diverse teams. Knowledge of construction site experience including coating application processes is highly desirable.
