Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Manager of Estimating and Operations to join our dynamic plumbing management team. This role is pivotal in supporting project estimation, cost control, and operational efficiency across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in estimating and project management, with the ability to lead teams and coordinate complex projects from inception to completion. Duties Assist in preparing accurate and competitive construction estimates using Field Pulse, QuickBooks, and other estimating software tools. Collaborate with project managers and clients to develop detailed project scopes, budgets, material lists, permits, and schedules. Support negotiation of contracts, change orders, and pricing agreements to ensure project profitability and compliance. Oversee cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle, tracking expenses and identifying potential overruns early. Coordinate with field teams on project site activities to ensure alignment with project timelines and specifications. Review construction documents, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and completeness. Assist in managing subcontractor relationships, scheduling, and bid evaluations. Contribute to project management efforts by monitoring progress, professionally resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery of the final product. Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality assurance protocols on-site and within office operations. Support the development of operational procedures that improve efficiency and reduce costs across projects. Skills Proficiency in Field Pulse, Quickbooks, and/or other estimating software tools. Strong negotiation skills for contracts, pricing, and change orders. 3+ years of relevant experience. Understanding of plumbing systems, codes, permits, materials, and pricing. Valid driver license is required. Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. Professional communication skills for collaboration with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on operational efficiency and team development. This role is integral to ensuring the successful delivery of a customer project through precise estimation, strategic negotiation, and efficient operations management. Pay:
$75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:
