The Position:
The Project Manager will own electrical construction projects from award through closeout, managing multiple jobs at various stages with full accountability for schedule, budget, and quality. This is a hands-on, execution-driven role for someone who thrives in the details but can also drive the bigger picture—partnering closely with field teams, general contractors, and vendors to keep projects running smoothly. Success in this role looks like running clean, efficient projects while contributing to a more streamlined, high-performing operation over time.
Responsibilities:
Manage multiple electrical construction projects from award through closeout Interpret architectural, electrical, and construction plans and specifications Prepare and manage RFIs, change orders, submittals, and project documentation Oversee project financials, including monthly billing and schedules of values (SOVs) Review contracts to ensure scope clarity and alignment Coordinate with general contractors, vendors, and internal field teams to ensure smooth execution Provide direction to foremen and field staff for installation and sequencing Attend project kickoff and ongoing site meetings Conduct site visits and support safety and quality standards Identify cost-saving opportunities and support value engineering efforts Review and negotiate vendor quotes, subcontracts, and purchase orders Build strong, trust-based relationships with internal teams and external partners
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in electrical project management or similar construction PM role Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and electrical systems Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications Experience with RFIs, change orders, submittals, and project financials Strong communication skills with the ability to align field and office teams Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam and Quickbooks Foundations Experience with Accubid or similar estimating software preferred Known for problem-solving, accountability, and follow-through
